Dates to be Announced - Educational Workshops and Forums
Economic Fuel offers educational workshops and forums throughout the Spring for competitors and community members. Previous educational events have covered financials, marketing, venture capital, economic impact, and business loans.

Business plans must be received by 5:00 pm.
Tuesday, March 22nd - Elevator Pitch Practice Session
Location TBA, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Teams have the opportunity to practice their elevator pitches with local Toastmasters who provide advice and feedback.
Thursday, March 24th - Elevator Pitch Presentations & Showcase Exhibits
Location TBA, Showcase Exhibits 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Judged Elevator Pitch Presentations: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Competitors have two minutes to pitch their business idea in the first judged round of Economic Fuel. Teams also have the opportunity to display a showcase exhibit on the night of the pitches.

Finalist teams 1-4 will give a formal presentation followed by a question and answer session with the panel of judges.

Finalist teams 5-8 will give a formal presentation followed by a question and answer session with the panel of judges.
Friday, April 29th - Awards Ceremony

This is the culmination of the 2011 competition with $117,000 awarded to the winning teams.
